This summary helps you read the document. If it differs from the full text below, the full text applies.
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains when One IBC Limited (Offshore Company Corp) refunds money paid for its services. It forms part of our Terms of service. It applies to orders paid by card, PayPal or bank wire and to renewal invoices, including services carried out by a performing company named in your order.
2. If we cannot incorporate your company
If we cannot incorporate your company, we refund the service fee (minus courier costs).
3. If we decide not to act for you
You pay at checkout, before our identity and due diligence checks are complete. We do not file anything or pay government fees for you until we approve your KYC documents.
If we decide not to act for you after those checks, we refund what you paid. If you do not send the documents we need within 30 days after payment and a reminder, we may cancel the order and refund you on the same basis. Where anti-money laundering or sanctions law requires us to hold, freeze or report funds, we must follow the law first, and we may only be able to return money to the account it came from.
4. Costs that cannot be refunded
Some money leaves our hands once work starts. Government fees and third-party costs that we have already paid for you cannot be refunded. For example:
- government and registry fees that have been paid;
- fees charged by licensed local partners, notaries, translators and apostille offices for work already done;
- courier costs for documents already sent.
5. Cancellations and other refund requests
You can ask to cancel an order at any time by email. We review every other refund request case by case, taking into account the work done and the costs already paid for you.
If you tell us before a renewal due date that you do not want to renew, we will not charge you for the next year.
6. Your 14-day right to withdraw (EU, EEA and UK consumers)
If you are a consumer living in the EU, EEA or UK, you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days after it is formed, without giving a reason.
To withdraw, send us a clear statement by email to customer.success@offshorecompanycorp.com, or by post to our head office at Unit 1411, 14/F, COSCO Tower, 183 Queen's Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, with your order number and the date you placed the order. You can use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to. You only need to send it before the 14 days end.
If you asked us to start work during the 14 days, you pay a fair share for the work done up to the time you told us, compared with the full service. This includes government fees and third-party costs we have already paid for you.
If we have fully performed the service during the 14 days, you can no longer withdraw. This only applies if you asked us to start and confirmed that you understood you would lose the right to withdraw.
We refund you within 14 days after we receive your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method you used, unless you agree otherwise. You do not pay any fee for the refund.
7. Model withdrawal form
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.
- To: One IBC Limited (Offshore Company Corp), Unit 1411, 14/F, COSCO Tower, 183 Queen's Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. Email: customer.success@offshorecompanycorp.com.
- I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the provision of the following service (*):
- Ordered on (*) / received on (*):
- Name of consumer(s):
- Address of consumer(s):
- Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is sent on paper):
- Date:
- (*) Delete as appropriate.
8. Bank and payment account introductions
The bank or payment institution decides whether to open an account. Our fee pays for pre-screening, the introduction and help with the application, and it does not depend on the bank's decision.
9. Refundable deposits
Some services need a refundable deposit, such as the Singapore resident director service. The deposit is quoted and invoiced separately, and the invoice explains when it is returned and what may be deducted from it.
10. How to ask for a refund
Email customer.success@offshorecompanycorp.com, or write to us through the client portal, with your order or invoice number, the amount and the reason. We reply within 1 business day.
Our finance team checks the order, the work done and any costs paid, and a senior manager approves each refund before we pay it. For EU, EEA and UK consumers who withdraw, the 14-day legal deadline applies.
11. How refunds are paid
We refund to the same payment method you used. Card and PayPal payments are refunded through the provider that took them (GlobalPay Hong Kong or PayPal). Wire payments are refunded by bank transfer to the account the money came from. We refund in US dollars. Your bank or PayPal may convert it, and exchange rates may differ from the day you paid.
The time a refund takes to reach you after we send it depends on your bank, card issuer or PayPal.
12. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Please contact us before you ask your bank or PayPal to reverse a payment. We can usually solve the problem faster.
If you open a dispute, we may pause work on the order while it is open, and we will give the card issuer or PayPal the order records, including your acceptance of our terms and the work done. A dispute does not affect your statutory rights.
13. Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the law, including the right to a remedy if our service is not provided with reasonable care and skill.

Change log
What changed in version 2026-09-27 (11)
If we cannot incorporate your company: States the approved commitment word for word.
Why: Only this refund commitment is approved (docs/content/CLAIMS.md). The live terms said refunds apply only to services not completed, which gave no rule for failed incorporations.
Law: Cap. 71 s.3; Trade Descriptions Ordinance (Cap. 362)
If we decide not to act for you: New section: payment is taken before KYC, nothing is filed before approval, and a refund is made if we decline, subject to AML and sanctions law.
Why: Checkout takes payment before CDD. A refund to a designated person can itself breach sanctions law.
Law: Cap. 615 Sch. 2 s.3; Cap. 455 s.25A; Cap. 537
Costs that cannot be refunded: Government fees and third-party costs already paid are not refundable.
Why: These costs cannot be recovered once paid to the registry or a third party.
Law: Cap. 71 s.3
Cancellations and other refund requests: Other cancellations and refunds are reviewed case by case; no charge for a year that is declined before the renewal due date.
Why: Replaces 'no pro-rata refunds' and automatic re-billing in the live text.
Law: Cap. 71 s.3; Directive 93/13/EEC
Your 14-day right to withdraw (EU, EEA and UK consumers): Added the statutory 14-day withdrawal right, proportionate payment, loss of right on full performance, how to withdraw and the 14-day refund deadline.
Why: Mandatory for distance contracts with EU, EEA and UK consumers; missing information extends the withdrawal period up to 12 months.
Law: Directive 2011/83/EU Arts. 9, 10, 11, 13, 14(3), 16(a); SI 2013/3134 regs 29 to 32, 34, 36
How refunds are paid: Refund to original method in USD. Replaced the live '5 business days to full billing cycle' wording and fixed HKD/SGD rates.
Why: The new site charges USD only and cannot control bank posting times.
Law: Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 13(1); SI 2013/3134 reg 34
Model withdrawal form: Added the model withdrawal form.
Why: Consumers must be given the model form before the contract; sending it only on request is not enough.
Law: Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 6(1)(h) and Annex I(B); SI 2013/3134 Schedule 3
Chargebacks and payment disputes: Replaced 'chargeback allows immediate cancellation without notice' and the administrative fee with a contact-first request and a pause during a dispute. No dispute fee is charged.
Why: Automatic cancellation and fixed fees risk being unfair terms.
Law: Directive 93/13/EEC; Cap. 71 s.3
Bank and payment account introductions: The bank decides; the introduction fee does not depend on the outcome.
Why: Matches the approved claim 'the bank decides'.
Law: Cap. 71 s.3; Cap. 362
If we decide not to act for you: Adds the 30-day window for KYC documents, the same as the Terms and the AML and KYC policy.
Why: One KYC timetable across the legal set.
Law: AMLO (Cap. 615) Sch. 2 s.3
Your 14-day right to withdraw (EU, EEA and UK consumers): The example withdrawal statement no longer uses placeholders.
Why: Visible placeholders are removed before publication; the model form keeps its fill-in fields.
Law: Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 11(1)
