Getting started

Pricing & payment

Can I pay the Vanuatu registry fee for several years at once?

Yes. Besides the yearly fee of US$300, the VFSC offers 5-year (US$675), 10-year (US$1,200) and 20-year (US$2,000) registration options. These are government fees only; the registered agent and our work are still renewed each year. Ask us before your renewal if a longer term suits you.

Banking

Which banks are realistic for a Vanuatu company?

Mostly institutions outside the EU, because EU-based banks may decline companies from EU-listed jurisdictions. Payment institutions and banks in Asia or the Pacific are the usual starting point. We check which ones accept Vanuatu companies for your activity before you commit; each institution decides.

What should I have ready for a Vanuatu company bank application?

The certificate of incorporation, the constitution, the registers of directors and members, a recent certificate of good standing and the ownership chart. Add a business plan and contracts or invoices that show real activity. Keep the set up to date, because counterparties ask for the same documents.
